Responsibility
- Assist the Senior Van Salesman in implementing sales plans and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle using the BLOWBAGETS (vehicle safety checklist) to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Drive company vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver products to assigned customers within the specified routes and schedules.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their inquiries and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Collect payments from customers, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or incidents to the management team promptly.
- Assist in loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
- Provide feedback to the sales team regarding customer preferences, market trends, and potential opportunities for business growth.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or sales is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, delivery, or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG or distribution industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic numerical skills to handle cash transactions and maintain sales records.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading of goods.
- Familiarity with the Bali region and its routes is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to company policies and procedures.
