MBG Fruits is a leading provider of premium fresh produce, and we’re expanding our team in Bali! We’re seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering exceptional service, managing inventory, and driving sales in our retail operations across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, and Badung.
As a Sales Assistant, you’ll engage with customers, promote our high-quality fruits and products, and ensure a seamless shopping experience. Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product selection, and purchases in a friendly and professional manner.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and display areas.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock products, and report low stock to management.
- Promote special offers, new arrivals, and loyalty programs to drive sales.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with a solution-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, pricing, and promotions to provide accurate information.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or sales experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., produce boxes).
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with POS systems or retail software is advantageous.
