Responsibility

  • Welcome and engage customers, providing personalized product recommendations to meet their home improvement needs.
  • Maintain high standards of visual merchandising by ensuring the sales floor is clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Process sales transactions accurately using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments, performing stock counts, and organizing the warehouse/stockroom.
  • Actively stay informed about product features, pricing, and ongoing store promotions to effectively advise customers.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve concerns with a professional and solution-oriented attitude.
  • Contribute to achieving daily and monthly store sales targets through proactive engagement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or college level is an advantage.
  • At least 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn about home products and interior trends.
  • Basic computer literacy and comfort with using digital POS and inventory systems.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
