Responsibility
- Monitor and supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Enforce compliance with Yellow Book safety regulations and other relevant industry standards.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to align safety measures with construction goals.
- Investigate and document near-misses, incidents, and accidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for on-site personnel to promote a culture of awareness and accountability.
- Prepare and maintain detailed safety reports, logs, and documentation for audits and regulatory compliance.
- Ensure all equipment, machinery, and personal protective equipment (PPE) meet safety and operational standards.
Qualifications
- Yellow Book Certification (Mandatory) with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven track record in implementing safety management systems (SMS) on large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international safety regulations, including OSHA and ISO standards.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and safety plans.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, safety management software, and reporting tools.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a plus.
