Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for M&E and ACMV engineering projects to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
- Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and emergency response plans in compliance with local and international standards.
- Monitor construction and engineering sites to ensure adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage, equipment safety, and hazard controls.
- Lead safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and workshops for employees and contractors to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and compliance documentation for regulatory reporting.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, legal requirements, and emerging safety technologies in M&E and ACMV engineering.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field. Certifications in NEBOSH, OSHA, or equivalent are a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety management within construction, M&E, or ACMV engineering environments.
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment methodologies, and hazard control techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate and address potential safety risks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and preparing compliance reports.
- Familiarity with Bali’s construction safety standards and willingness to travel across project sites in the region.
- Certification in First Aid/CPR and experience with emergency response planning is advantageous.
