Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive safety policies and procedures in alignment with local regulations and Toyotaâs global standards.
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Lead safety training programs, workshops, and drills to educate employees on best practices, emergency protocols, and PPE usage.
- Investigate incidents, near-misses, and accidents, compiling detailed reports and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor compliance with OSH (Occupational Safety and Health) laws, ISO standards, and internal safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety measures into daily operations and project planning.
- Maintain accurate records of safety audits, inspections, and training sessions for regulatory and internal reporting.
- Oversee the maintenance and functionality of safety equipment, including fire suppression systems, first aid kits, and emergency exits.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Safety Officer or similar role, preferably in manufacturing, automotive, or industrial sectors.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or IOSH is highly advantageous.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations, including Indonesian OSH laws and ISO 45001 standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to effectively train and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
