Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety and health policies in accordance with local and international standards (e.g., OSHA, ISO 45001).
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Organize and deliver safety training programs, workshops, and drills for employees at all levels.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to occupational health and safety.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety best practices into daily operations.
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities for auditing and reporting purposes.
- Promote a safety-first culture by encouraging employee engagement in safety initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing, industrial, or high-risk environments.
- In-depth knowledge of local and international safety regulations, including OSHA, ISO 45001, and Indonesian labor laws.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess risks and propose practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to train, influence, and engage employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in conducting safety audits, writing reports, and using safety management software.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is an advantage.
