Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health and Safety (HSE) policies in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead safety training programs for employees, contractors, and subcontractors to promote a culture of safety awareness.
- Investigate and document workplace incidents, near-misses, and accidents, ensuring root cause analysis and preventive measures are implemented.
- Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and safe work practices across all project sites.
- Collaborate with project managers to integrate safety considerations into project planning and execution.
- Prepare and submit HSE reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
- Stay updated on emerging safety trends, technologies, and legal requirements to ensure continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
- Certification in OSHA, NEBOSH, or equivalent HSE qualifications is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Indonesian and international HSE regulations (e.g., K3, ISO 45001).
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to influence safety behaviors at all levels.
- Proficient in conducting audits, writing reports, and using HSE management software.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with a hands-on approach.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
