Responsibility
- Operate and maintain rotogravure cylinder engraving machines with precision and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate artwork into high-quality cylinder designs for printing.
- Inspect and verify cylinder specifications to ensure accuracy, depth, and alignment meet industry standards.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during the engraving process and implement corrective actions.
- Optimize design files for engraving compatibility, adjusting for material, texture, and printing requirements.
- Document workflows, adjustments, and quality checks for traceability and process improvement.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace in compliance with industry regulations.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and techniques in rotogravure cylinder design.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (1+ years) in rotogravure cylinder design, engraving, or printing industries.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, CorelDRAW) and design tools for cylinder preparation.
- Strong understanding of color separation, halftone patterns, and printing mechanics.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications with high attention to detail.
- Hands-on experience with engraving machines, lasers, or CNC systems is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to quality control.
- Basic knowledge of materials used in cylinder production (e.g., copper, steel).
- Fluency in English or Indonesian; ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
