Responsibility
- Provide expert technical support to clients on the performance, operation, and maintenance of thermal power plants, with a focus on steam power systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis for operational inefficiencies or failures and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize plant reliability, availability, and lifespan.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute performance improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports, presentations, and training sessions for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor plant performance metrics and identify opportunities for efficiency enhancements.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental protocols.
- Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of new or upgraded power plant systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in thermal power plant operations, maintenance, or engineering, with a focus on steam power systems.
- Strong knowledge of boilers, turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems in thermal power plants.
- Proven experience in performance analysis, condition monitoring, and predictive maintenance.
- Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., ASME, ISO) and regulatory requirements for power generation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Indonesian is a plus.
