As a Revenue Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing revenue recognition processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial reports. Responsibility
- Manage and oversee the revenue recognition process in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements related to revenue.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of revenue transactions and adjustments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure financial data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support external audits as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation for revenue accounting processes and controls.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve revenue-related processes.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations affecting revenue recognition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue accounting or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, particularly revenue recognition standards (e.g., ASC 606).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Certification such as CPA or equivalent is a plus.
