Responsibility
- Process and manage payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in compliance with local and international regulations.
- Maintain and reconcile payroll accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the general ledger.
- Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports to relevant government agencies.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to payroll.
- Monitor and implement updates to payroll policies and procedures to ensure compliance with changing regulations.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation and explanations.
- Utilize payroll software and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in payroll processing or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Certification in payroll (e.g., CPP, FPC) is a plus.
