Responsibility
- Lead and supervise daily floor operations to ensure maximum productivity and service quality.
- Manage and train retail assistants, providing guidance on customer service and store protocols.
- Monitor stock levels, oversee inventory replenishment, and ensure products are displayed according to company standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular checks on pricing accuracy, shelf life, and product quality.
- Assist in managing staff schedules and monitoring attendance to ensure adequate floor coverage.
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure compliance with safety and security regulations.
- Prepare operational reports for the Branch Manager regarding sales performance and stock discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM/STPM or a Diploma in Retail Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the retail or supermarket industry.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia; ability to speak English or Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
- Willingness to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking and reporting.
