Responsibility
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
- Manage inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain adequate stock availability.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, product recommendations, and resolving complaints professionally.
- Monitor and maintain store cleanliness, organization, and visual merchandising to create an inviting shopping environment.
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems and handle cash management duties.
- Train and supervise junior staff or new hires to ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local retail laws.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or storekeeping roles (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and team members.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems or inventory management software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer complaints or operational challenges calmly and professionally.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform store maintenance tasks.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are advantageous for Bali’s diverse customer base.
