Responsibility
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, assisting guests with inquiries, orders, and product recommendations.
- Prepare and package bakery products according to company standards, ensuring freshness and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking displays and sanitizing work areas.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours and special events.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to the management team.
- Follow food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold Cakecity’s high-quality standards.
- Assist in promotional activities, such as setting up displays and distributing marketing materials.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and stay composed under pressure.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights (up to 10 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with POS systems is advantageous but not required.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
