Responsibility
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions, and ensure accurate processing of payments.
- Maintain store appearance by organizing merchandise, restocking shelves, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and stocking new shipments and conducting regular stock checks.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
- Stay updated on product knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations to customers.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or retail experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash registers.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
