Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing expert guidance on eyewear products, frames, and lens options.
- Drive sales by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and closing transactions efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales counter and display area to enhance the shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale (POS) systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments.
- Educate customers on the benefits of different lens types, coatings, and eyewear accessories to support informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the optical team to schedule eye examinations and fittings for customers as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and a solution-oriented approach.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new product launches, and promotions to effectively communicate value to customers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in the optical, eyewear, or fashion industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Basic knowledge of eyewear products, lens types, or optical accessories is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize customer needs effectively.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese, or Russian) are highly advantageous.
- Comfortable using POS systems, handling cash, and processing digital payments.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in sales or customer service are a bonus.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by the retail schedule.
