Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting clients, answering inquiries, and resolving concerns professionally.
- Balance the cash register at the start and end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock checks, restocking, and reporting discrepancies.
- Handle customer complaints or issues with a solution-oriented approach, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area.
- Promote current sales, loyalty programs, and special offers to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or Customer Service Representative (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong numerical and cash-handling skills with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or business training is advantageous.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as required.
