Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of furniture products, including materials, features, and benefits, to guide customer decisions.
- Assist customers with product selection, measurements, and customization options to meet their needs.
- Perform light assembly and setup of furniture items for in-store displays or customer pickups.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems, including handling payments, returns, and exchanges.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and showroom.
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through proactive upselling and cross-selling.
- Collaborate with the store team to ensure inventory is stocked, priced correctly, and displayed attractively.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field (furniture industry is a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Strong sales and negotiation abilities with a track record of meeting targets.
- Basic knowledge of furniture assembly, materials, and design trends is advantageous.
- Ability to lift and move furniture items (up to 20-25 kg) with proper techniques.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business or design is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required.
