Responsibility
- Assist customers in selecting eyewear, including frames, lenses, and sunglasses, based on their needs and preferences.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Conduct basic eyewear fittings and adjustments to ensure comfort and proper alignment for customers.
- Process sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Manage inventory by restocking products, organizing displays, and reporting stock levels to the store manager.
- Promote ongoing sales and promotions to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
- Stay updated on optical products, trends, and industry developments to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in retail or sales is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role (experience in optical or healthcare retail is advantageous).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers.
- Basic knowledge of eyewear products, including frames, lenses, and sunglasses, or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a strong advantage for Bali’s international clientele.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
