Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising clients on optical products, including eyeglasses, contact lenses, and accessories.
- Conduct eyewear fittings and adjustments to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction.
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing retail display to enhance the shopping experience.
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials to help them make informed purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with the optical lab to manage orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues promptly.
- Achieve monthly sales targets by proactively engaging with customers and promoting products or services.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in optometry, business, or related fields is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role, preferably in the optical or healthcare industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Basic knowledge of optical products, lens types, and eyewear trends (training will be provided).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer applications.
- Friendly, approachable, and detail-oriented with a passion for helping others.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
