Responsibility
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing eyewear products, including prescription glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses, by providing expert advice and personalized recommendations.
- Drive sales targets by actively engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering tailored solutions to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of Optik General’s product range, including frame styles, lens options, and brand offerings, to provide accurate and helpful information to customers.
- Perform basic eyewear adjustments, repairs, and fittings to ensure customer satisfaction and product longevity.
- Process transactions efficiently using point-of-sale (POS) systems, handle cash, and manage inventory to ensure stock availability and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the store team to create a welcoming and organized retail environment, including merchandising displays, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring visual standards are met.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by following up on purchases, addressing inquiries, and providing post-sale support to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, promotions, and competitor offerings to effectively communicate value propositions and drive sales growth.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field; prior experience in optical retail or eyewear is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers, including international visitors.
- Passion for fashion, eyewear, and helping customers find the perfect fit for their style and needs.
- Basic knowledge of eyewear products, including frames, lenses, and prescription requirements, or willingness to undergo training.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional languages (e.g., Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, Russian) are highly advantageous.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in retail, sales, or optical services are a bonus.
- Flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by the retail schedule.
