Responsibility
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle cash and credit card payments accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area and sales floor.
- Assist in stocking and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, promotions, and store policies.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving and organizing new shipments.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain store standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in retail is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, sales, or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems is an advantage.
