Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to enhance shopping experiences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments with integrity and accuracy
- Assist customers with inquiries about products, promotions, and store policies
- Balance cash registers at the beginning and end of each shift
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store presentation and stock levels
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding transactions and customer interactions
- Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and escalate when necessary
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Basic English proficiency (additional languages are a plus)
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10kg
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Honest, reliable, and punctual with a strong work ethic
