Responsibility
- Assist customers in finding products or services that meet their needs, providing personalized recommendations and expert advice.
- Achieve and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets through proactive engagement and upselling techniques.
- Maintain a deep knowledge of product features, promotions, and inventory to ensure accurate and helpful customer interactions.
- Create a welcoming and engaging in-store environment that enhances the customer experience and encourages repeat visits.
- Process transactions efficiently, including handling cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, while ensuring accuracy and security.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain store presentation, including merchandising, stocking, and visual displays.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns professionally, ensuring resolution aligns with company policies and customer satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and store events to stay updated on products, promotions, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or a similar role (prior experience in sports retail is a plus).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and team members.
- Passion for sales and a results-driven mindset, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
- Fluency in English; additional languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Mandarin, etc.) are a strong advantage.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by the retail schedule.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in retail or sales are a bonus.
