Responsibility
- Provide outstanding customer service, greeting and assisting shoppers with product inquiries and purchases.
- Operate the cash register, process transactions, and handle payments accurately.
- Maintain store appearance by restocking merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring a clean, inviting environment.
- Achieve sales targets by actively promoting products, upselling, and participating in store promotions.
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving shipments, tagging items, and conducting stock checks.
- Resolve customer complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Stay updated on product knowledge, including features, benefits, and pricing of sports equipment and apparel.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
