Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting shoppers with inquiries, product information, and purchase recommendations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle cash, credit card, and mobile payments while ensuring compliance with company policies and security procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, product displays, and cycle counts.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate concerns to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a secure environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or hospitality certifications are a plus.
- Prior experience in cashiering, retail, or customer service roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and team members effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the role.
