Responsibility
- Develop and execute PPIC (Planning, Production, Inventory Control) strategies to align production with retail demand and sales forecasts.
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstocking, ensuring cost efficiency and product availability.
- Collaborate with design, production, and sales teams to plan seasonal collections and product launches.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to inform merchandising decisions.
- Oversee the distribution of products to retail outlets, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
- Implement visual merchandising standards to enhance in-store product presentation and customer engagement.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory turnover, sales performance, and merchandising KPIs for senior management.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms for raw materials and finished goods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in merchandising, retail management, or PPIC, preferably in the fashion/garment industry.
- Proven track record in inventory management, demand planning, and supply chain coordination.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, or retail management software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Familiarity with retail trends, consumer behavior, and visual merchandising techniques.
- Willingness to relocate to Bali (if not already based there).
