Responsibility
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the Chinese Department, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to company policies.
- Drive sales performance by implementing effective merchandising strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in both Mandarin and English.
- Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely restocking of Chinese-language books and products.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance productivity and service quality.
- Maintain store visual standards, ensuring an organized and appealing retail environment.
- Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments to execute company-wide initiatives and events.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a bookstore or educational products environment.
- Fluency in Mandarin and English (written and spoken) is required.
