Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive retail design and project strategy that aligns with business objectives and brand vision.
- End-to-End Project Management: Oversee all phases of retail development, including site selection, design conceptualization, budgeting, permitting, construction, and handover.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams, architects, contractors, vendors, and local authorities to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Quality & Compliance: Enforce strict quality control measures and ensure all projects adhere to local building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
- Budget & Timeline Management: Monitor project finances, negotiate contracts, and mitigate risks to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Innovative Design: Drive creative and functional retail space designs that enhance customer experience and reflect brand identity.
- Vendor & Contractor Oversight: Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with external partners, including architects, engineers, and construction firms.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 10 years in retail design, project management, or a related field, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of retail architecture, construction, and fit-out processes, preferably in the Asia-Pacific region.
- Project Management Expertise: Strong background in managing large-scale projects from inception to completion, with a focus on retail or commercial spaces.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams, inspire collaboration, and drive results in a high-pressure environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana).
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of local building codes, zoning laws, and permitting processes in Indonesia.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control skills to manage multi-million-dollar projects.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse stakeholders.
