As a Customer Assistant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless shopping experience, from assisting customers with product inquiries to maintaining store presentation standards. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to our mission of making health and beauty accessible to everyone.
Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and advising customers on Watsons’ health and beauty products.
- Process transactions accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit payments with integrity.
- Maintain store cleanliness and product displays to ensure an appealing and organized shopping environment.
- Restock merchandise, monitor inventory levels, and report low stock to management.
- Promote ongoing sales, loyalty programs, and special offers to drive customer engagement and sales.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and escalate to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Stay updated on new products, promotions, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia is a bonus).
- Passion for customer service and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail software is advantageous.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights.
