Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily cashiering operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate cashiers to maintain high standards of service and performance.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Monitor cash handling procedures, including opening/closing registers, reconciling daily sales, and preparing reports.
- Implement and enforce company policies, including loss prevention and security protocols.
- Collaborate with store management to optimize checkout processes and reduce wait times.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked checkout area to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking sales, returns, and exchanges.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail cashiering or supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficient in POS systems, cash handling, and basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to resolve transaction discrepancies.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak retail periods.
- Familiarity with retail inventory and sales reporting is a plus.
- Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
