Responsibility
- Supervise and train cashiers to ensure efficient, accurate, and customer-focused transactions.
- Oversee daily cash and check accounting, including reconciliation of sales, refunds, and deposits.
- Monitor cashier performance, address discrepancies, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to management.
- Manage petty cash funds and ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed store revenue targets.
- Resolve customer complaints related to billing or transactions with professionalism and urgency.
- Maintain a secure and organized cashiering area, including safeguarding cash drawers and financial documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in cashiering, retail operations, or a supervisory role in a high-volume retail environment.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail in financial reconciliation.
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in training and managing teams.
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
