Responsibility
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with purchases, returns, and exchanges in a professional and efficient manner.
- Operate cash registers, process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments), and issue receipts accurately.
- Provide detailed product information, including features, pricing, and availability, to help customers make informed decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing checkout area to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback with patience and a solutions-oriented approach.
- Collaborate with the sales team to promote special offers, discounts, and loyalty programs to boost sales.
- Monitor inventory levels at the checkout area and restock supplies (bags, receipt paper, etc.) as needed.
- Adhere to company policies, including cash handling procedures and security protocols, to ensure a safe and compliant work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail cashier or customer service role (experience in furniture or home decor is a plus).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages such as Indonesian, Mandarin, or Japanese are advantageous).
- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude, with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required by the store’s operating hours.
