Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and mobile payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly, professional demeanor to enhance the shopping experience.
- Handle currency exchange and multi-currency transactions for international travelers.
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure all merchandising standards are met.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, promotions, and loyalty program enrollments.
- Balance cash drawers at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals.
- Uphold company policies on age verification, refunds, and security procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Fluency in English (additional languages, especially Mandarin or Japanese, are advantageous).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle peak-hour pressures.
- Basic computer literacy, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
