Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring financial accuracy.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Assist customers with product information, promotions, and loyalty programs.
- Balance cash registers at the end of shifts and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless shopping experience.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Strong numerical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial transactions.
