Responsibility
- Process cash, credit, and digital transactions accurately and efficiently at the gas station and convenience store.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, including fuel pumps and retail checkout, with precision.
- Replenish stock, organize merchandise, and ensure the store and fuel area are clean and presentable.
- Monitor fuel levels, report shortages, and assist with minor equipment maintenance as needed.
- Balance the cash drawer at the end of each shift and prepare daily sales reports.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including handling hazardous materials (e.g., fuel) and emergency procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior cashier or retail experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for handling transactions and cash reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with POS systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., stocking shelves).
- Knowledge of Indonesian and English is advantageous for serving international customers.
