Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, ensuring a smooth checkout experience.
- Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area to uphold store standards and hygiene.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments securely, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting stock discrepancies, low inventory, or damaged products.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to a positive store atmosphere.
- Stay updated on promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs to inform customers and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional retail or customer service certifications are a plus.
- Proven experience as a cashier, retail associate, or in a customer-facing role (experience in Bali’s retail sector is advantageous).
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages such as Indonesian, Mandarin, or Russian are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as required by the store’s operating hours.
