Responsibility
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately using POS systems.
- Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and digital payments while ensuring proper change and receipts.
- Provide friendly, professional, and prompt customer service to enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area for customers.
- Reconcile daily cash drawer and prepare accurate reports for end-of-shift balancing.
- Assist with inventory management by reporting stock discrepancies or low inventory levels.
- Resolve customer complaints or issues with a positive and solution-oriented approach.
- Adhere to company policies, including security and loss prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; retail or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail for accurate cash handling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English (additional languages are a bonus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with POS systems or cash registers.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
