Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily grocery department operations, including stocking, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Ensure all products meet quality and freshness standards, conducting regular checks and addressing discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of grocery staff to deliver high-performance and exceptional customer service.
- Monitor sales targets, track KPIs, and implement strategies to optimize department profitability.
- Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and product recommendations, fostering a positive shopping experience.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize wastage.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene protocols in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and operational metrics to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in grocery retail, supermarket operations, or a similar supervisory role.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Strong knowledge of grocery products, inventory systems, and retail best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers and staff.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle operational challenges efficiently.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., POS systems, inventory software).
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
- Fluency in English; additional proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is a plus.
