Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide friendly and efficient customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily sales reports to ensure financial accuracy.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock checks and restocking merchandise as needed.
- Uphold store policies and procedures, including handling returns, exchanges, and discounts.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Generate receipts, invoices, and other transactional documents for record-keeping.
- Stay updated on product knowledge to provide informed recommendations to customers.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate weights (up to 10 kg).
