Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems, including cash, credit, and digital payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile daily transactions to ensure accuracy.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, promotions, and store layouts to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Collaborate with the sales team to upsell products and promote ongoing sales or loyalty programs.
- Ensure the checkout area is clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Adhere to security and loss prevention procedures to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification; prior retail or cashier experience is a plus.
- Strong numerical and basic arithmetic skills to handle cash transactions accurately.
