Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately using POS systems (cash, credit, and digital payments)
- Provide friendly, personalized service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and ensure product displays are well-stocked
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism and empathy
- Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and price verification
- Promote eco-friendly products and educate customers on sustainable shopping practices
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and operational goals
- Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies to ensure security and accuracy
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; retail experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are advantageous)
- Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail for accurate transaction processing
- Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude with a passion for service
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn POS systems quickly
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle moderate physical activity
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of or interest in sustainability and eco-friendly products is preferred
