Responsibility
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service, addressing inquiries and resolving concerns.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments while ensuring proper cash drawer management.
- Assist customers with product selections, pricing, and promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations during peak hours.
- Generate receipts, process refunds or exchanges, and handle gift card transactions.
- Uphold company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and security measures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail or customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a similar customer-facing role.
- Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with POS systems.
