Responsibility
- Manage daily cash transactions, including opening and closing the cash register, with 100% accuracy.
- Process customer payments (cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments) and issue receipts promptly.
- Maintain and reconcile petty cash funds, ensuring all disbursements are properly documented.
- Record all financial transactions in the system and verify invoice details against purchase orders.
- Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports for management review.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve billing discrepancies, and provide excellent service at all times.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
- Safeguard company assets by adhering to cash handling and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cashier, Retail Associate, or in a similar financial operations role (1+ years preferred).
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), and basic accounting software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members.
- High integrity and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- Familiarity with Indonesian financial regulations and retail best practices is advantageous.
