Responsibility
- Assist customers with inquiries, product locations, and purchases to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Replenish and stock shelves with merchandise, ensuring products are neatly displayed and easily accessible.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including tidying aisles, checkout areas, and storage rooms.
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the management team to prevent out-of-stock situations.
- Assist in receiving and unpacking deliveries, checking for damages, and organizing stock in the storage area.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including health and safety guidelines, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales targets and contribute to the overall success of the store.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Attention to detail to ensure products are displayed correctly and the store is well-maintained.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
