As a Retail Assistant, you are the face of Econsave. You will play a vital role in our daily store operations, ensuring our shelves are well-stocked, products are neatly organized, and customers receive prompt, friendly assistance. Whether you are assisting shoppers on the retail floor, managing stock in the inventory room, or ensuring promotional items are properly displayed, your efforts will directly contribute to our store's success and reputation for low prices and great value.

Responsibility
- Greet and assist customers with inquiries in a friendly and professional manner to ensure high satisfaction.
- Monitor, replenish, and neatly arrange stock on shelves in accordance with company merchandising standards.
- Perform regular stock rotation and check expiry dates to ensure product freshness and quality.
- Assist in receiving, unloading, and checking incoming shipments against delivery orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail floor, aisles, and storage areas.
- Ensure price tags and promotional labels are accurate, visible, and updated regularly.
- Adhere to all company safety, security, and operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent; school leavers are highly encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in retail, supermarket operations, or customer service is an advantage but not required (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work on shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support retail operations.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle standing for long periods and lifting light-to-moderate inventory.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cooperative team.
- Basic command of Bahasa Malaysia and English; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
