Responsibility
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting, assisting, and addressing inquiries from shoppers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate the cash register accurately, handling transactions, processing payments, and issuing receipts while maintaining cash drawer integrity.
- Restock and merchandise products on shelves, ensuring displays are visually appealing, well-organized, and fully stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock to the store manager to ensure timely replenishment of popular items.
- Maintain a clean and safe store environment, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and organizing storage areas.
- Assist in daily opening and closing procedures, including counting cash, preparing the store for business, and securing the premises at the end of the shift.
- Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently, escalating to management when necessary.
- Promote store promotions, loyalty programs, and special offers to enhance customer engagement and sales.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, customer service, or a related field is preferred, but fresh graduates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.
- Basic math and cash-handling skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate transactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to meet store operational needs.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift and move stock (up to 10-15 kg), and perform repetitive tasks.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer operations is a plus.
- A customer-first mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are a bonus for serving international customers.
