Responsibility
- Warmly greet customers, provide assistance with product inquiries, locate items, and guide them through purchasing decisions.
- Accurately operate cash registers, handle various transactions, and process payments efficiently.
- Replenish and organize stock on shelves, ensuring proper display, rotation, and tidiness of merchandise to enhance visual appeal.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store environment, including regular upkeep of shelving, aisles, and checkout areas.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, such as receiving deliveries, performing stock checks, and reporting any discrepancies.
- Address customer feedback and complaints professionally, escalating complex issues to store management when necessary.
- Actively promote special offers, ongoing promotions, and Econsave's loyalty programs to customers.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and security regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) or O-Levels qualification, or an equivalent certification.
- Previous experience in a retail or customer service-oriented role is beneficial, though motivated fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly, approachable, and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a fast-paced and team-oriented retail environment.
- Basic numeracy skills and the capability to accurately handle cash and electronic transactions.
