Responsibility
- Oversee the final inspection of all food items to ensure they meet portion, quality, and presentation standards before being served.
- Coordinate communication between the kitchen and floor staff to ensure smooth service flow and minimize wait times.
- Supervise and train food runners and junior staff on menu knowledge and service protocols.
- Monitor food temperatures and adherence to HACCP and hygiene regulations.
- Manage special guest requests and dietary requirements, ensuring strict compliance by the culinary team.
- Address and resolve any food quality issues immediately to maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in administrative tasks, including scheduling and inventory management for the service area.
- Conduct pre-shift briefings to communicate daily specials and operational goals to the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Supervisor, Food Checker, or Senior Expeditor in a high-volume luxury establishment.
- Strong understanding of international culinary standards and food presentation techniques.
- Excellent command of English and Bahasa Indonesia, both written and verbal.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively under high-pressure situations.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Relevant educational background in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts is preferred.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
